Informational use only (not legal, tax, or investment advice)
All charts, investor profiles, SEC Form D and Form ADV lookups, distribution moat scores, and founder calculators (SAFE dilution, 83(b)/QSBS/Delaware franchise tax, liquidation waterfall, burn multiple and runway, SaaS metrics, LLM inference cost, fundraising readiness, and cofounder equity) are illustrative models and public-data compilations provided for research and discussion only. Nothing on modevc.com or returned by the MCP server constitutes legal, tax, accounting, financial, or investment advice, nor an offer to buy or sell securities.
MCP and WebMCP API access
The Mode VC MCP server and WebMCP browser bridge are free, read-only, and require no authentication. Automated agents, ChatGPT connectors, Claude Desktop, Cursor, and WebMCP-compatible browsers may query the server at reasonable request rates. Abusive scraping or denial-of-service traffic may be rate-limited at our network edge.
Attribution and open data
Every chart and MCP tool response carries an as_of date and source_urls. When citing Mode VC research charts or Investor Atlas records in publications or agent outputs, please preserve attribution to Mode VC and the underlying primary sources.
Warranty disclaimer and liability limit
The website, calculators, browser extension, and MCP endpoints are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mode VC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of these tools or data.
